Waterstorm Project Update #1

We had some problems with our hoster, so the Rarebyte DevBlog was down for the last few hours. The problem is fixed now and everything should work as expected. Fortunately, neither the waterstorm-game.com site nor the beta notification sign-up page were affected.

Waterstorm Project Update #0

It’s a great experience when a project that you’ve been working on for quite a while is unveiled. I think the most important thing at this point is the feedback you get, and I’d like to say that we welcome especially critical feedback, because we are always interested in improving our games.

We are working hard at the moment to get the beta of Waterstorm out the door – and it will happen very soon. We think that communication between the developers and the gamers is a very important aspect, not only during the beta phase, but also later on. We are very excited about getting in touch with the community and we will definitely reply to all questions, requests, bug reports and suggestions.

Stay tuned for the next update and do not forget to register for the beta notification at waterstorm-game.com ;)

Waterstorm – Official Announcement

Austrian based independent game developer Rarebyte announces Waterstorm, a fast paced 2D submarine multiplayer action shooter. Featuring amazing underwater scenarios, intuitive controls and high-tech weapons, Waterstorm invites gamers to participate in subaqueous battles.

Players from all over the world can join different game modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and the newly introduced Drone Match. Gamers choose from a variety of mini-submarines, use their tactical as well as team skills and compete for the top ranks in a sophisticated ranking system. Additionally, the game has built-in support for clans by providing clan statistics, organizational tools and even more.

Rarebyte spreads the word that they are close to finishing internal testing and already preparing for the public open beta test. Waterstorm will be available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.

Pillow Replacement Replacement

keyboards About every two years I need a new keyboard, because the old one breaks apart or a few keys start to cause some indeterministic action.

I don’t know if it’s bad for my image as a programmer if I let you know the broken keys of the keyboard that I just threw away: Ctrl, X, C, V.

Coder’s Night

the green tea Ah. Looks like there is a coder’s night. Tonight.

Unimportant Update #7
